Interactive Bode Plot Simulation

Explore how gain and pole locations affect the frequency response of a control system. The simulation displays both magnitude in dB and phase in degrees on a logarithmic frequency scale.

DC Gain 13.98 dB

High-Frequency Phase −180°
How to experiment: Increase K and observe how the magnitude curve moves upward. Move the pole frequencies to see how the break frequencies change. The first pole introduces approximately −20 dB/decade of magnitude slope and up to −90° of phase shift. With two poles, the high-frequency magnitude slope approaches −40 dB/decade and the phase approaches −180°.
